Below you will find a list
of helpful tips and tricks to make your
vacation easier and your days at the parks less hassled!
|
PLAN
AHEAD
Having a plan of attack is a good way to start your
holiday off to a smooth ride. Planning ahead will
ensure that you get to fit in all of the attractions
and rides to satisfy each member of your party. Be
sure to schedule in some down time for rest and relaxation
pool side at your vacation
home! |

START
EARLY
You'll want to get as much out of your day when you
visit the park's. Remember: No matter what time you
arrive at the park it's still considered one admission
unless your using a hopper pass or the like so get
there early and get your money's worth. |

SCHEDULE
DIFFERENT PARKS FOR DIFFERENT DAYS
Even though most guests in the theme parks are also
on holiday, residents are also attending the parks
as well. To make the most out of your days, schedule
your larger, busier parks (i.e. Magic Kingdom, Universal
Studios, Islands of Adventure, etc.) for weekdays
when the Orlando residents are at work and school.
Save your quieter parks, like Animal Kingdom and EPCOT,
for the weekends. Don't forget - if you want to ride
Test Track at EPCOT, it is closed most weekdays as
well! |

DO
THE REVERSE
Typically when guests enter the parks, they naturally
go towards the right hand side of the park, to complete
it in a counter-clockwise route. Go the other way
- when you go towards the left, you will find the
waits are shorter. This is a great tip for Magic
Kingdom - most people go to the right towards Space
Mountain, leaving a much shorter queue line for
Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain!
This tip also works
for wait lines. If a ride has the option of two
wait lines, hop into the line on the left. You will
find it goes much faster and you will be on the
ride in no time!

PICK
YOUR SPOT
At the end of each day at many of the parks you'll
be presented with a stunning fireworks and laser lights
display. Trying to get a good spot to see the show
can sometimes be difficult. If your happy that you've
seen as much of the park that you want to then it's
a good idea to pick a good spot maybe an hour before
the display starts. This might seem like a waste of
time just waiting for things to begin but it is a
very relaxing and stress free time to unwind from
the busy day you've just had. For example - a great
place to see the Illumination's Reflections of Earth
show at Epcot is to go to The Rose And Crown bar in
the world showcase section of the park. Here you can
have a beer and sit in comfort and watch the show. |

WATER
& SUNSCREEN
Don't forget - Florida is a very tropical, hot climate.
While you may not feel as though you are overheated,
in most cases you are actually dehydrated. Make sure
to drink plenty of water, especially in long wait lines.
Don't forget to cover up with a sunscreen as well! (SPF
30 is recommended for normal skin; in some shops they
even sell SPF 50!) |
